As our former best overall pick (it was recently knocked out of the top spot by the Cuisinart WAF-V100 vertical waffle maker, now unavailable), the WAF-F20 can churn out thick and fluffy waffles that are tender on the inside with the best of them. It can make two waffles at a time, and we also noted that it felt truly solid and well-built.

2. Half off: This highly-valued knife block set

While we haven’t tested this specific unit—the MIDEA EasyCool MAW08R1BWT—we did try out a smart air conditioner with the same BTUs (8,000) from the brand, dubbing it one of the best on the market. In our tests, the smart model registered a 10 degree Fahrenheit and a 15-percent humidity drop in a 340 square-foot room in just one hour on an absurdly hot day.
