2. Save more than $200: This leading robot vacuum

This iRobot Roomba is a definite crowd-pleaser.
This iRobot Roomba is a definite crowd-pleaser.

If you're considering buying a robot vacuum, iRobot is a leading brand, and the company's Roomba 981 is now down from $508.95 to $299.99 for a limited time, saving more than $200 big ones. We reviewed the Roomba 980 ($489), which is a very similar device with the exception of the size (the 981 is slightly more compact), its slightly upgraded navigation and the plug (the 981 comes works in both North American and European markets). That's good news, since the 980 is a machine we'd recommend for cleaning multiple rooms in the home. We loved that it could be controlled from anywhere using the mobile app (and by voice using Alexa), and found it to be a solid choice for those looking for a basic robot vacuum they can set to clean in a jiffy. This sale model also a seal of approval from more than 3,500 Amazon shoppers, who say it has plenty of "powerful suction."

3. Down 24%: Our favorite garden hose

The Flexzilla Garden Hose was a clear winner in testing.
The Flexzilla Garden Hose was a clear winner in testing.

The Flexzilla 75-foot garden lead-in hose, regularly $71.64, is now available for $54.32 for a savings of 25%. That's a big deal, because we named the 50-foot version of this hose ($31.98) our absolute favorite among garden hoses. Not only was it lightweight and flexible, making it a dream for when you have to drag it across the yard to get to those rose bushes in the back, our reviewers also found it to be comfortable to hold. More importantly, it worked really well, was durable (we smacked it against concrete multiple times and it held up!) and is made from lead-free material, which means kids can drink right from it without worry of toxins. More than 25,000 Amazon shoppers agree with our assessment, granting this hose a collective 4.6-star rating. One reviewer even called it the best hose he "has ever owned," with another raving, "Worth every penny."

4. An 18% markdown: The best outdoor smart plug

This smart outdoor plug wowed us.
This smart outdoor plug wowed us.

After extensively testing many an outdoor smart plug, we named the Meross outdoor smart plug the best overall. And you can save $4 on right now by clipping the coupon beneath the price to drop it to $17.99. This pick checked every box we had, as it was rugged, resistant to all kinds of weather (something that's especially handy if you live somewhere that frequently sees sub-zero temperatures and snow and/or high levels of humidity) and easy to control. With two plugs that can be controlled independently from the app using scenes, routines and schedules—a feature that set it apart from the testing pack—you can use one outlet to control, say, an outdoor light, and the other for a holiday inflatable you only want to rise from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The app was super-easy to use, and you can even control scenes that were set up in the app by voice. For example, say "Hey Google, good morning" to have an inflatable rise and the porch light turn off. All around, we found this smart plug to be a "pleasure to operate," which is a rarity when it comes to often frustrating tech gadgetry.

5. $12 off: This fitness smartwatch with rave reviews

Buyers say that this watch is a great fitness tracker.
Buyers say that this watch is a great fitness tracker.

The Amazfit Bip U health fitness smartwatch is down from $59.99 to $47.99, saving you $12 off its already incredibly affordable price. Let's be clear, though: You shouldn't expect this smartwatch to operate like an Apple Watch. While it might resemble one, that's where the similarities end. That said, as a budget wearable, it packs some impressive features you would typically only find in smartwatches that are four times the cost, like Sp02 measurement, heart rate, stress and sleep monitoring, music control, 60+ sports modes and a water-resistant housing. We tried a pricier model from the brand, the Amazfit GTS ($119.99) the and found that it had the price and multi-device support going for it. In addition, there are 1,200+ buyers to date on Amazon who gave the Bip U a solid 4.2 stars, thanks to the long battery life (the company claims it can last for up to seven days) and comfortable wear. If it's basic tracking features you're after at a budget-friendly price, this could be your buy.
