In fact, the online retail giant is boasting incredible savings on some of our favorite gadgets and devices, many of which can even double as awesome Valentine's Day gifts. From savings of more than 20% on three different types of Roku streaming devices (all of which are among the best streaming devices we’ve ever tested) to a $30 price cut on the coveted Apple iPad, trust us when we say that today's picks are top-notch. So settle in and scroll through the best Amazon deals you can buy today—but be sure to get them before they're gone!

1. Save $30: An entry-level iPad we love

This iPad was a big winner for us in testing.
This iPad was a big winner for us in testing.

If you’re in the market for a tablet but don’t need the high-tech frills (or high price points) of the latest and greatest models, Apple’s 8th-gen iPad is a great option. Available from $299 in gold with 32 gigabytes of storage space at Amazon and in Space Gray or Silver at Walmart, this device is $30 off its usual $329. We dubbed it our best-valued tablet pick even without the discount, however. While it wasn't as feature-heavy as some of the pricier iPads on the list (you won’t get an edge-to-edge display from the 10.2-inch screen, and the processor is a bit dated), it exceeded expectations in the power department with its eight hours of battery life. It also has a sleek, intuitive design and a vivid, bright LCD display. Overall, it's a solid choice if you’re looking to score a new iPad for less.

2. $50 in savings: One of our favorite soundbars

When you want your home movie and TV-viewing experience to be as close to going to the theater as it can be without leaving your couch, a soundbar is the essential addition you need to elevate things to the next level. Thankfully, Yamaha’s YAS-209 soundbar, which we named the best value pick in our round-up of the best soundbars on the market, just got a $50 price cut on Amazon. Now just under $300 instead of its usual $349.95, this model has a lot more to love about it than its price, however. It’s simple to set up and use, sounds great for the money and is loaded with features, such as a spare HDMI input for your favorite gaming console or streaming box and Amazon Alexa compatibility for seamless control of your smart home devices. Nearly 1,000 happy Amazon buyers love it too, indicating that you'll be glad you clicked "add to cart" on this one.

3. Less than $50: A sleek, do-it-all smartwatch

This fitness tracker could be a game changer.

While it’s true that the average smartwatch is a feature-rich and handy little gadget that can cost you big bucks, you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars to enjoy health and fitness tracking at a glance of your wrist. The Amazfit Bip U Health fitness smartwatch, which we haven’t yet tested, allows you to track your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress levels, breathing, quality of sleep, overall sleeping patterns and menstrual cycle, all with a sleek, lightweight design that rivals some of the pricier models out there. We included the brand's AmazFit GPS model (also on sale for $99.99) in our roundup of the best smartwatches on the market. While it had its flaws (the build was nowhere near on par with higher-end models and we struggled quite a bit with setup), we found the fitness tracking to be impressively detailed.

This even more affordable Bip U model, once 59.99 and on sale for $49.99, shares the same 5 ATM water-resistance as the model we tested, if a lower battery life (nine days versus the GPS's 14, according to the company). It's got 12 of the GPS's 60 sport modes and a slightly smaller display (1.43-inches versus 1.6 inches), but if the more than 3,200 glowing Amazon reviews are any indicator, it's also a solid basic health tracker that will look great and feel comfortable for all-day wear.

We've made no secret of the fact that we love Roku—the brand's devices consistently rank among the best streaming devices there are, with the Roku Ultra 4800R, on sale for $72.44 from its usual $99.99, coming out at the top of the heap. it supports 4K/HDR and Dolby Vision, is super fast when used with wired internet and boasts an impressive selection of streaming services, including Apple's own TV app, and, more recently, HBO Max. It also has the easiest remote to use of the bunch, which includes a headphone jack for audio.

For two more wallet-friendly options we liked, check out the Roku Streaming Stick+ (usually $49.99, now $39) and the Roku Premiere (once $34.99 and now $24.99), both of which include some of those same features. While they do lack a few others, such as Ethernet and voice support, you can’t go wrong with a Roku streaming device, and with all three on sale, you're sure to score a great deal.

5. A 33% savings: One of the best coding toys we’ve ever tested

These days, coding toys are widely popular for kids, providing a fun outlet while also teaching them real-life applications. But many are also extremely complicated, throwing a wrench into the process. We loved iRobot's Root coding robot, which looks just like the brand’s best-selling robot vacuums, but performs a litany of cool coding tasks, activities and challenges, for just that reason. It’s easy to follow for both kids and parents who might be clueless about coding, allowing them to program the robot to draw, climb walls and more with ease. It not only kept our tester's kids engaged, but coming back for more, making it a great investment at its regular $149.99 price tag—and you can get it for $50 off today at $99.99.
