5 cool kitties to adopt now in Seattle

Ollie is a young, outgoing kitty who is searching for a special foster home in the Seattle area. Since arriving at Emerald City Pet Rescue, Ollie has had multiple hip surgeries to correct fractures, and has at least one surgery still upcoming. Currently, he is on strict bedrest, and receives daily pain medication and physical therapy. Ollie needs a foster home that can provide him a quiet and comfortable place while he continues on his road to recovery…and that will give him as much love as he wants!

Salem is currently living in a Ballard studio with her foster mom, but is ready to find her forever home. She's an introvert who tends to shy away from crowds, but in a one-on-one environment, she's playful, sweet and very gentle. She is shy at first and may prefer to hide in a dark and cozy space until you earn her trust and join her inner circle of favorite humans. You'll know you've made the cut when you hear her tiny purr or very soft "meow." This little girl loves head scratches, and will boop you with her head to let you know she's ready for some pets.

Meet Stella—a gentle, friendly and affectionate kitty who loves head and cheek scratches. Outgoing and social, she makes a wonderful lap cat. Stella is busy and curious at times, and relaxed and mellow at other times, the best of both worlds! This gorgeous gal was found stray, so is in need of a little TLC. She has diabetes mellitus, and is being treated for this at the shelter. She's doing very well, and our shelter veterinarian is available to go over any question/concerns you may have about this. The best home for Stella will have prior cat experience and have no other pets.

Maggie is a very pretty girl with luminous opal-green eyes and a pert pink nose who found herself at the shelter after her guardian passed away. Perhaps a bit shy at first, she'll soon be a spunky companion to her new family. She adores attention from humans, loves head pets and even meows when her name is called! String toys are her very favorite. Maggie will do best as the only pet in the home.

Maggie has a stunning face with a Santa Claus beard and unique blue/gold eyes. She is a gentle and affectionate girl with a lovely purr. Her long fur needs regular brushing to keep it tangle-free and Maggie is a very willing participant. She has always lived indoors and will benefit from a moderately active forever home that will help her stick to a sensible weight-loss plan. Maggie loves people but wants to be your one and only kitty.
