5 Georgia restaurants ranked among top 100 best places to eat in U.S.

Yelp is out with its “Top 100 US Restaurants 2022″ and several Georgia restaurants made the cut.

The 9th annual list is based on Yelpers the website reached out to for their favorite dining spots. Rankings were determined by the total number of submissions, ratings, reviews, and geographic representation, according to Yelp’s website.

Topping the list is Cocina Madrigal in Phoenix, Arizona. Several Georgia restaurants also made the list.

Fia Restaurant in Atlanta comes in at 32. Yelp describes is as warm and welcoming, inspired by rustic Western Mediterranean cooking.

Whiskey Bird, also in Atlanta, is at 37. Yelp says it serves up American classics with an Asian twist.

Atlanta’s Red Phone Booth is at 43. Red Phone Booth is known for a variety of hand-crafted cocktails, according to Yelp.

Brunch House in Augusta makes the list at 51. Yelp says the restaurant’s all-homemade comfort food with a southern flair sets it apart.

The Albert in Atlanta is 93. Yelp touts The Albert’s award-winning burgers.
