5 impending free agent Buccaneers in NFC title game for Cardinals fans to know

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers play on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, attempting to make it to the Super Bowl. They have a number of players set to become free agent this offseason and some would fill needs the Arizona Cardinals have.

Here are a few players who could fit what the Cardinals need in 2021.

DT Ndamukong Suh

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Suh is 34 years old but he still had six sacks in 2020. He would give the Cardinals another veteran option on the line and pass-rushing production on the interior. While some would like to see the Cardinals go after someone like J.J. Watt, Suh offers something that Watt does not — durability. Suh has not missed a game since 2011.

K Ryan Succop

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Succop is 35 years old and missed five extra points, but he only missed three field goals in 2020. He was 7-of-9 from 40-49 yards, where Zane Gonzalez struggled.

Godwin will be one of the top receivers on the market, if not the No. 1 receiver. But Hopkins and Godwin would be an elite pairing, even if the cost is crazy.

RB Leonard Fournette

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Fournette might cost a little more than fans might want to see the team spend on a running back, but his talent is undeniable. He also offers some flexibility in the passing game and is physical enough to solve the Cardinals' short-yardage woes.

LB Lavonte David

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

David is 31 years old and the Cardinals already have Jordan Hicks. However, they have an out in Hicks' contract and David is better. He would not be cheap but pairing him with Isaiah Simmons would be fun. Listen to the latest from Cards Wire's Jess Root on his podcast, Rise Up, See Red. Subscribe on Apple podcasts or Spotify.
