Support local Girl Scouts before cookie season is over. Several troops will be out in the Lake Norman area selling Girl Scout cookies over the weekend. Catch the NCAA tournament games on the Birkdale Village Big Screen. March Madness screenings are free for all visitors, and seating is open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can also participate in the Village Madness bracket. Players that have the most accurate bracket at the end of the challenge will receive a $20 Birkdale Village gift card. Start your weekend out with an evening of goat yoga at Eleven Lakes Brewing. Get your flow on with baby goats, then grab a drink from the brewery. Everyone is welcome and no experience is needed. Saturday, March 25

The Huntersville Top Deck Car and Truck Show is back. Enjoy live music, food, drinks and, of course, the hottest rides around town. There will be awards given for Crowd Favorite, Best in Show Car, Best in Show Truck, Best in Show Pre-1975 and Best in Show Post-1975. All makes and models are welcome. Participate in Hoptown Brewing’s Sip it Forward 4 Miler event to raise awareness and money for four charities. Run or walk the 4 mile trail, and every participant gets to choose the charity they would like to make their donation to. The 4 Miler costs $40, and the one mile walk costs $10. Check out the Charlotte Ballet at the Cain Center for the Arts. Dancers will be performing Under the Lights, a tribute to iconic singer-songwriter Johnny Cash. There’s two performances you can catch. Sunday, March 26

Spend your Sunday at the Lake Norman Men that Cook event, where 22 teams of men will come together for a cook-off serving their favorite foods to win prize money for their favorite charities. The community is invited to participate by voting for “the best of the best” in several categories. Check out the last Bentley’s Flower Truck Pop-Up at Birkdale Village. You can choose as many flowers as you’d like to be wrapped up to take home. The truck also has three taps to serve up beer, cider and more. 4-8 p.m. 8712 Lindholm Drive, #202, Huntersville, NC 28078.
