5 NorCal counties sue PG&E over Dixie Fire damage, injuries

Five Northern California counties announced Wednesday they were suing Pacific Gas and Electric Co. over damages and injuries caused by the Dixie Fire. The Dixie Fire stands as the second-largest wildfire in California history and the 14th-most destructive, according to Cal Fire. As of Wednesday, it was 95% contained and had 1,218 personnel still assigned to it. Butte, Plumas, Lassen, Shasta and Tehama counties are all included as co-plaintiffs in the lawsuit that was filed in San Francisco Superior Court, which has overseen several other fire cases including the North Bay Fire, Kincade Fire and Zogg Fire.
