North Carolina, 4 Others Removed From PA Travel Quarantine List

PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania has once again made changes to its travel quarantine list, removing five states.

North Carolina, Iowa, Nebraska, Utah and Wisconsin have been removed from the list.

The states's travel quarantine list includes 17 states that are currently experiencing increasing levels of COVID-19. Travelers who visit the following states should quarantine for 14 days upon return, Pennsylvania health officials say:

  • Alabama

  • Arizona

  • Arkansas

  • California

  • Florida

  • Georgia

  • Idaho

  • Kansas

  • Louisiana

  • Mississippi

  • Missouri

  • Nevada

  • North Dakota

  • Oklahoma

  • South Carolina

  • Tennessee

  • Texas

"A concerning number of recent cases have been linked to travel, and if people are going to travel, we need them to take steps to protect themselves, their loved ones and their community, and that involves quarantining," state officials said in announcing the update.

Pennsylvania's coronavirus case total reached 124,844 Monday, after 384 additional positive cases were reported. The state's death toll from the virus now stands at 7,468.
