Juneteenth Celebration

When: Noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 18.

Where: Alton Baker Park, 100 Day Island Road, Eugene.

Tickets: Free.

Event description: The event will celebrate Black performing artists, vendors, crafters, businesses and organizations. This year's theme is "Black Hair Matters" and will feature demonstrations of different Black hair styles and information about the history of Black hair.

Beauty and the Beast

When: 2-5 p.m. Saturday, June 17.

Where: Thurston High School, 333 58th St., Springfield.

Tickets: $20. They can be purchased on the Identity Dance Company website, in person at the studio or at the door of the show.

Event description: Identity Dance Company brings the classic tale to life through dance, singing and acting.

Under the Sea

When: 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17.

Where: Hult Center Silva Concert Hall, One Eugene Center (7th and Willamette), Eugene.

Tickets: Starting at $16.

Event description: The Eugene Ballet Academy presents Under the Sea, a dance performance showcasing students age 3-20 in the end-of-year annual production. The program includes works from classical, modern and jazz repertory.

Father's Day Historic Neighborhood Walking Tour

Event description: Explore history and architecture in Eugene's East Skinner Butte Historic District. Meet at the SMJ House and discover the stories behind Mim's House, Pironi House and more than 20 other historic homes in the neighborhood. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the hilly neighborhood. Outdoor tour only with no entry into homes.

Where: Eugene Public Library, 100 W. 10th Ave., Eugene.
