5 THINGS TO KNOW: When and where is the Choctaw Nation College Connect event?

Nov. 2—The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma's Higher Education Program gives information on how area high school students are invited to attend Saturday's annual College Connect event in Durant.

1 When is the event?

The event is from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 4.

2 Where is the event being held?

The event is being held at the Choctaw Nation Headquarters located at 1802 Chukka Hina Dr. in Durant.

3 Who is the event for?

For parents and students ages 14-18/grades 9-12 and current college students. All students, tribal and non-tribal members are encouraged to attend this college fair experience.

4 What colleges will be in attendance?

Baylor, Cameron, Carl Albert State College, Connors State College, Cornell, Dartmouth, East Central University, Eastern Oklahoma State College, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Southeastern, University of Oklahoma, Penn, Yale, and Tulsa are just some of the local, state, regional, and national colleges that will be in attendance. Recruiters from the armed forces will also be in attendance.
