1. Mitten Fest in Bay View

Mitten Fest, one of Milwaukee's most popular street bashes, is back outside Burnhearts, the Bay View bar at 2599 S. Logan Ave. From noon to 8 p.m. Feb. 4, the street festival will have live music, food vendors, rare and limited beers from Central Waters Brewery and Founders Brewing, special cocktails and more. 2. Anime Fest Milwaukee 2023

Anime Fest Milwaukee 2023, a three-day convention celebrating anime, manga, Asian culture, gaming and more, returns to the Wisconsin Center and the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, 509 W. Wisconsin Ave. Two dozen performers, voice actors and more will be on hand; there'll be cosplay combat chess, a K-pop dance competition, video and tabletop gaming, children's programming and more. Doings start at 11 a.m. Feb. 3 through 5, with registration starting at 9 a.m.; admission at the door is $50 on Feb. 3, $70 on Feb. 4, and $40 on Feb. 5 (weekend passes are $70). 3. Urban Ecology Center's Winterfest in Washington Park

The Urban Ecology Center hosts a free Winterfest Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Washington Park, 1859 N. 40th St. There'll be sledding, snowshoeing, ice skating, cross-country skiing — and snacks. Info: urbanecologycenter.org.

4. MKE Chili Bowl at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino

The 15th annual MKE Chili Bowl turns up the heat at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, 1721 W. Canal St., from 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 5. Local chefs and restaurants compete for honors in several categories. Tickets at the door are $30, and get you eight chili samples. (VIP tickets, $45 at the door, get you in two hours early.) Info: mkechilibowl.com.

5. Winter Wisconsin Antiques Dealers Association Show & Sale

More than 50 dealers will be on hand for the Wisconsin Antiques Dealers Association's winter show and sale at Waukesha County Expo Center, 1000 Northview Road, Waukesha. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 3, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 4; there'll be a fish fry on Feb. 3. Admission is $8. Info: wisconsinantiquesdealers.com.
