5 Topeka-area boys swim and dive teams competed at state. Here's how they did.

The first state tournament for high school winter sports in Kansas took place this weekend at the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center in Lenexa.

The Topeka High (6A), Washburn Rural (6A), Hayden (5-1A), Seaman (5-1A) and Shawnee Heights (5-1A) boys swim teams represented the local schools.

Here's how each Topeka-area school finished overall, how each swimmer or diver who competed in the finals finished on Saturday with state medalists bolded.

Topeka High

Washburn Rural placed 12th out of 24 teams with 87 points, medaling in four events.

Hayden placed 22nd out of 31 teams.

Seaman finished 11th out of 31 teams with 73 points.
