50 Cent Says He’s Starring In The Predator

It looks as though rapper 50 Cent may be taking on ‘The Predator’…

During an interview with Sirius XM’s Shade 45, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson revealed that he’s landed a role in the upcoming sci-fi sequel, ‘The Predator’.

“I’ll be doing some new feature films and stuff like that too,” he said. “I’ll do Predator.”

‘The Predator’ is the upcoming sequel to the highly-popular 1987 classic, ‘Predator’… and is said to be an effort to reinvent the ailing franchise. But studio insiders insist that it won’t be a reboot – instead, it’s a direct sequel.

And 50 Cent later confirmed his casting in a separate interview with 99 Jamz UnCensored.

“I’m working on some new projects,” he explained. “You heard of the movie Predator? I might be a part of that project this summer.”

Of course, 50 Cent seems to have changed his tune somewhat from a firm ‘yes’ to simply stating that he might be involved… but it sounds as though the rapper-turned-actor may have already landed the role.

‘The Predator’ is directed by Shane Black and penned by Fred Dekker… and is said to also feature the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dutch – the iconic special ops Major from the original ‘Predator’ movie.

But will 50 Cent really star in the upcoming sequel?

He’s certainly already got form alongside Schwarzenegger – appearing in ‘Escape Plan’ with Schwarzenegger and Stallone. And let’s face it – he sounds pretty confident that he’s already bagged the role.

But with no official word, we’ll have to wait and see.

‘The Predator’ heads to cinemas on 2 March 2018.
