'500 minutes of commercials': Indy 500 fans frustrated with NBC's TV coverage

The Indy 500 is back in full force, and so are the television commercials.

"NBC thinks this means 500 minutes of commercials," one person tweeted. Others were sarcastic: "I hope this Indy 500 race is not interrupting the commercials too much."

It's a tradition becoming as familiar as '(Back Home Again in) Indiana' — people complained last year and the year before, too.
