51st Annual Jordbruksdagarna/Agriculture Days
What: Bishop Hill’s annual 19th century harvest festival Jordbruksdagarna (pronounced yord-brooks-DAH-ga-na) will include traditional craft demonstrations, food, vendors and hands-on activities for the children during the Jordbruksdagarna. Demonstrations, hands-on activities, play, and music are all free. In the village park, artisans will make rope, process flax, carve wood, forge metal and make butter. Vendors will be selling farm produce, pumpkins, herbs, baked goods and crafts. There will be live music, a petting zoo and so much more.
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24

Thursday Night Jazz
What: Free admission; cash bar available. The Fall Jazz Series brings you jazz voices from the region. A different guest artist will hold a workshop/conversation with the attendees at 6 p.m., with Cherry St. Combo performance afterward. Bring your dinner or order carry-out.
