53-Year-Old Tina Malone Gives Herself Six Months To Get Pregnant
Shameless star Tina Malone has already given birth to daughter Flame at the ripe old age of 50 following IVF treatment.
Now the actress has revealed she’s facing a race against time to squeeze in another sprog before her 54th birthday.
But there could be a small obstacle in the way. Tina, who made the headlines after losing a whopping 11 stone five years ago, says she first needs to coerce toyboy hubby Paul Chase to agree to have another kid first.
“March is my cut-off point,” Tina told the Mirror. “If I’m not pregnant by then, I’ll have to leave it. I think, for me, over 55 is too old to have a baby. I’m 54 in January – but if someone else wanted to have IVF at 63, then whatever floats your boat.”
However, 34-year-old hubby Paul is worried about the effects getting up the duff again could have on Tina’s health. She suffered from pre-eclampsia during her previous pregnancies, and he’s unsure she could cope with another.
“We have to make a decision by February,’ she said. “I would go for it in March if Paul gave me the OK in January. I could still cope with sleepless nights.”
Super slimmer Tina has also spent the week thanking the various surgeons and beauticians who helped her achieve her weight goals. After squeezing into a size 6 dress for the glitzy Crème de la Crème Ball, she tweeted: ‘I’ve always been the pig in the room at these events, now I look and feel good, I cant stop cryin! Size 6 ball gown.”
The former CBB star lost 11st 4lb (72 kg) in 16 months when after having a gastric band fitted, reaching a size 8 and slimming down to 8st 2lb. She was left with a huge amount of unsightly excess skin, and documented her cosmetic surgery on a TLC reality show.
Well, best of luck to Tina and Paul whatever they decide to do baby-wise.
