Elizabeth Hurley just rocked a hot pink bikini in a new Instagram post.
Fans and followers are swooning over her poolside confidence and glowing skin.
At 56, the model and actress doesn’t follow a strict diet or fitness regimen. For her, it’s all about balance.
There’s no such thing as the winter blues when you have a glistening pool, glowing skin, and swimsuit confidence like Elizabeth Hurley. Luckily for us, the model, 56, recently took to Instagram to spread some summer vibes while showing off one of her very own bikini designs (and a very fun flamingo pool floaty).
With that being said, given Hurley’s caption, it’s not totally clear if the snap was taken in real-time (we’re guessing not). “Yes, I could be in a swimming pool with a pink flamingo….. or I could be snuggled up with my doggies in Blighty, eating a Terry’s chocolate orange and about to watch the final season of Ozark….. you decide 🤔,” she wrote.
Most followers guessed the latter—snuggling and TV—and we would have to concur. But that doesn’t take away from the brilliance of the star's swimsuit shot. “56 lookin like 26 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one person commented on the post. “Snuggling!!! But, I love this pic of you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” another added. “Or, you could watch Ozark in a bikini…❤️,” someone else joked.
The hot pinkish-red number Hurley sported in the photo is one of many pieces from Elizabeth Hurley Beach, her swimwear line. The brand’s Instagram is full of people modeling all types of styles—cutout one-pieces, plunging necklines, cover-ups, and more.
And at 56, the actress can rock all of them. You’d think it’s because she follows some intense diet and exercise routine. But she doesn’t. For her, it’s all about balance. “It means being as healthy as you can in your lifestyle and as healthy as you can emotionally. You need to balance both,” she told The Cut in 2017. “Of course, it’s important to eat well and exercise. It’s also really important to look after yourself emotionally.”
She continued: “People often ask me how you can look good as you age, and for me it’s a couple of things. You need to look after your skin, that’s important ... You also have to look after your health. You can’t look good if you’re not healthy, and diet plays a big part. You can’t smoke and have too much alcohol. We all get hard knocks in life, but it’s important to stay positive and stay engaged, and not be angry. Anger doesn’t seem to go hand in hand with wellness.”
Hurley also said she doesn’t follow a particular workout regimen—she prefers to do house and yard work to stay active. “I don’t really do any set exercise, per se, because I prefer to get my exercise from doing something [other] than being in the gym,” she told Women's Health last year. “Not only do I feel, well, actually exhausted, but also I feel that I’ve got the leaves up, which is also a nice thing ... I’d rather scrub a mirror—it does just as much.”
You read that right, according to Hurley, cleaning is exercise—time to make the house spotless!
