Shasta County athletes found ample success at their games last week.
A West Valley senior won a golf tournament, a Foothill sophomore accelerated past her competition in cross country and a Central Valley senior has played strong tennis throughout the fall.
Football players from Anderson and West Valley also led dominant performances last Friday.
The multitude of achievements made choosing one athlete of the week difficult, so the Record Searchlight selected three male and three female students as the Shasta Family YMCA Athletes of the Week.
Let's meet those who are being recognized.
