6-year-old calls 911 to report uncle firing shots at sister: affidavit

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man is accused of pointing a gun and threatening his sister during an argument, and firing several shots at her, according to an affidavit.

Deputies were dispatched to a shooting incident on Sunday on Kumquat Road after a 6-year-old called 911 to report someone fighting at his grandmother’s house.

The dispatcher said they heard an altercation in the background of the call screaming, “I’m going to kill her.”

The child, “Jojo,” is the nephew of suspect Davidson Dulcio, 25, of West Palm Beach, who said that his uncle had a gun and was shooting, the affidavit said.

The argument was between the uncle and his sister, Tabitha, who also called 911 claiming Dulcio had a gun and was shot at least three times as she drove away from the home.

Tabitha told officials an argument ensued regarding her drinking wine and him cooking. She said Dulcio has anger issues and “a lot of hate for her.”

As the argument escalated, Tabitha said she went to grab a bottle of wine and her keys to leave the home but Dulcio grabbed the bottle. The fight then became physical as Dulcio pushed her against a wall and slapped her in the face, prompting Tabitha to bite him.

The affidavit said the argument moved outside the home where Dulcio grabbed the gun and began making threats. Tabitha said something about “shutting it down” to which he then pointed the gun in her face and told her to say it again, before accusing her of stealing from him.

The mother of the siblings went outside to break up the fight, where Tabitha was able to drive away. That’s when she heard numerous shots being fired. The affidavit said a Ring camera confirmed the vehicle leaving and a loud sound in the background.

Dulcio was arrested on Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, discharging a firearm in public and improper exhibition of a firearm.
