60-year-old man killed, another man wounded in overnight shooting in North Linden

Columbus police are investigating after a 60-year-old man died early Wednesday following a shooting at a home in North Linden that also left another man wounded.

The shooting was reported at 11:58 p.m. Tuesday at a home on the 2800 block of Atwood Terrace.

Responding officers found 60-year-old Ronald Price, of the Northeast Side, with a gunshot wound, as well as a 37-year-old man who had been wounded.

Price was rushed to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, where he died at 1:38 a.m. Wednesday. The surviving victim, who was also taken to Riverside hospital and is expected to survive, told police that he was in a separate room at the home when he heard shots being fired.

The surviving man said he went to see what happened and was going to Price's aid when he was also shot. He did not know what had led up to the shooting, according to police.
