60+ new restaurants, food trucks, drink shops, bars that opened near Bradenton in 2023

It was a good year for local restaurant fans.

2023 brought a diverse batch of new places to dine and drink out in the Bradenton area.

New offerings dotting the local food landscape include fine dining, casual fare, cultural cuisines, food trucks and fast fooderies.

We also scored some new coffee shops and dessert stops.

For the drinking crowd, there are new tap rooms, tequila bars, a brewery and a distillery to try.

The Mixon Swirl. Bradenton’s iconic Mixon Fruit Farms may be closed, but a sweet piece of its legacy lives on with The Mixon Swirl food truck. The craft beer purveyors behind Good Liquid Brewing Company expanded into the world of spirits this year with the opening of their Lakewood Ranch distillery.
