68-year-old man hit, killed by vehicle in Rock Hill, coroner says

A 68-year-old man was killed Wednesday in Rock Hill after he was hit by a vehicle, the York County coroner confirmed.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to South Anderson Road at Southside Road at 5:55 p.m. for a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

David Boatwright was flown to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte where he later died.

The investigation is ongoing.
