New 7,926-square-foot Texas Roadhouse to open off U.S. 287 just north of Fort Worth

Joining four other locations in Fort Worth, a fifth Texas Roadhouse restaurant is opening up in the city.

With 72 restaurants throughout the state, which is about 11% of all Texas Roadhouse restaurants in the U.S., Texas has the most locations in the country. Along with locations in Fort Worth, there are others in Tarrant County in Lake Worth, Burleson, Bedford and Mansfield. There are over 600 Texas Roadhouse locations in the country.

The new restaurant, one of over a dozen locations in North Texas, will be located at 12951 Saginaw Blvd and will be about 7,926 square feet.

Opening in 1993 in Indiana, the Kentucky-based American steakhouse chain specializes in steaks in a Texan and Southwestern cuisine style. It’s also known for its barbecue ribs, sides and fresh-baked rolls.

A new Texas Roadhouse opened earlier this week in Lake Worth at 6672 NW Loop 820. Its hours are 4 to 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

In September 2024, construction of a $2 million Texas roadhouse in the southwest corner of Avondale-Haslet Road and U.S. Route 287 is expected to be completed.
