7 new agents join local real estate company

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage recently welcome seven new agents to its team at different offices in the Wilmington area. They are Katherine Goodman, Carla Supples, Donna Davis, Greer Creech, Liddia Dunkleberger, Trudy Gupton, and Joshua Nodurft.

Goodman, with a reputation for achieving optimal results, and a background that includes creating and managing electronic marketing campaigns, recently joined the Carolina Beach office.

A graduate of Northeastern University, Goodman has enjoyed putting her research skills and knowledge of property valuation to work for the benefit of her clients. Having purchased, renovated and sold numerous investment properties with her husband, she has a creative eye for design, a tenacious work ethic and an in-depth understanding of building materials.

A mother of six, she credits a portion of her success to her superior organizational skills, patience and capacity for multi-tasking.

Goodman’s hobbies include running, working in her yard, and spending time with her family. She values giving back to her community, volunteering with her church and supporting veteran's groups, the latter motivated, in part, by two of her children serving in the armed forces—her daughter is a captain in the U.S. Army and her son is a Marine at Camp Lejeune.

"I love sharing the knowledge I have built over the years to help my buyers find homes with hidden value or develop a concept for staging and marketing that presents my sellers' homes in the most attractive light," Goodman said. "It's been my lifelong dream to be a realtor and I love working with people, especially when it comes to helping with such important decisions."

Supples is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Master of Business Administration. She recently joined the Leland office.

Supples has impeccable business sense, superior organizational skills and a thorough knowledge of evaluating financial statements. These skills allow her to assist her clients in analyzing real estate opportunities and potential return on their investments. "The chance to make a positive, life-changing impact on the lives of my clients is a strong motivator for me," Supples said.

With a background that includes working in the utility business for 35 years and the auto industry for 10 years, Supples is a highly effective communicator who enjoys connecting with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds. She explained that working on her grandparents’ farm in her early years and helping with her father's auto business were experiences that had a significant influence on her life, teaching her the importance of having a strong work ethic and building meaningful relationships.

In her spare time, Supples enjoys volunteering with her church and serving the community through her involvement with the United Way, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the American Diabetes Association and the Alzheimer’s Association. Globe-trotting to new places, gardening and traveling to visit her son and four nephews are some of her other favorite pastimes.

A lifelong local to the Wilmington area, Davis is passionate about "providing great people great homes" as well as supporting local businesses.

Davis joined the Hampstead office in September. "My goal is to make clients confident in buying or selling real estate," Davis said.

She plans to use her "knowledge of local attractions and personal experience living in multiple areas of Wilmington and Castle Hayne" to achieve this goal.

When not selling real estate, Davis enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and being on the water.

Creech joined the Logan Sullivan Team in the Wilmington office at Autumn Hall. Having worked as a hair stylist for 19 years, Greer credits her great energy and love for building relationships with preparing her to serve real estate clients, as well as her love of interior design.

"I love home and it feels like a great fit for me to help people find the right home for their families," Greech said.

Creech is fluent in Spanish, has lived in the Wilmington area for over a decade, and enjoys cooking, exercise, and being with family.

Dunkleberger joined the Midtown Wilmington office in September. Her past work as a paralegal at a real estate practice has prepared her for her new career, which she feels has now come "full circle" as she serves buyers and sellers directly in their real estate journey. She also studied to be a doctor while living in Ecuador.

Dunkleberger enjoys spending time with her church and working in the community, and volunteering at the Habit for Humanity Restore.

Gupton recently joined the Castro Real Estate Team in the Hampstead office. Gupton has lived in Jacksonville for eight years, and has worked throughout coastal North Carolina as a system coordinator and designer. She feels her client relationship skills and personability make her an excellent fit for real estate. ''People always need a place to call home, there’s always someone who needs help, and that’s what I’m best at" Gupton said.

Gupton has studied sign language since she was a teen. She loves to bake, sew, and make crafts, as well as camping, trail riding, and being outdoors.

In her spare time, she supports Mama Dragons: mothers of children who are part of the LGBT community, providing education, suicide prevention, medical needs and general support.

Nodurft retired from the Marine Corps as a 1st Sergeant, and also worked as a high school academic advisor. He also joined the Castro Real Estate Team in the Hampstead office.

Of his choice to pursue a career in real estate: "I was a recruiter and loved that my success and failure lay on my shoulders but hated high-pressure sales. I love being part of a team and am a super extrovert. I asked myself, what can I do that allows me to be a part of a team and make use of my personality with the optimum opportunity or serve others? The answer for me is assisting buyers, sellers, and investors with their real estate needs," Nodurft said.

Nodurft lives in Sneads Ferry and enjoys pickleball, excel spreadsheets, and spending time with his family.
