7 Brew makes donation to ZHS band, giving away T-shirts, coffee for a year

ZANESVILLE The drive-thru coffee store 7 Brew recently held a ribbon cutting with the Zanesville-Muskingum Chamber of Commerce at 3121 Maple Ave.

In celebration of its opening, 7 Brew is giving away items and made a $2,000 donation to the Zanesville High School Marching Band.

Swag day will be observed today by 7 Brew. Customers who purchase a large drink will receive free T-shirts and the customer in each drive-line will receive free coffee for a year.

The check presentation to the band was held Sept. 29, during a home football game at ZHS. Band director Kelley Ryan accepted the donation.

"The Zanesville High School Band thanks 7 Brew for their generous donation to our program. Our band boosters and members look forward to frequent visits to their new drive-thru,” Ryan said. “We are grateful to be supported by and to support 7 Brew, as we welcome them to our community."

The store offers more than 20,000 unique drink combinations. From the original blondie, a caramel and vanilla breve, to 7 Energy, smoothies, shakes and teas. The brand boasts more than 100 stands across the country. The franchise's first location in Ohio opened recently in Massillon.

Rick Nader, franchisee of Motley Brew, said, “We are excited to expand our presence in Ohio. The energy and community spirit in Ohio is unmatched, which aligns with 7 Brew really well.”

The local stand will add more than 50 jobs to the Zanesville area. Those interested in joining the Brew Crew can apply at motleybrew.7brewcareers.com.
