These 8 Burlington restaurants are serving Easter brunch and dinner

Easter is approaching, and some Burlington restaurants are getting ready to serve a special menu.

But customers might want to move quickly, since some restaurants are requiring reservations and spots are filling up fast.

For last-minute planning, some restaurants will welcome walk-in diners. Choices range from the customary glazed ham and potatoes to Chinese and Mexican fare.

Here's a sampling of what's offered at Burlington restaurants Sunday.

Catfish Bend Convention and Events Center

Where: 3001 Winegard Drive.

What: Easter buffet with carved beef, carved ham, fried chicken fingers, garlic roast potatoes, salmon, mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, roasted brussels sprouts, salad and dessert bars.

Cost: Adults: $22.95; Seniors age 60 and older: $20.95; Children age 10 and under: $11.95. Children age 4 and younger eat free with a paid adult.

Limited seating is available; reservations are required. The reservation deadline is Wednesday.

The meal is dine-in only. No discounts apply.

Burlington Bent River Brewing Co.

What: Easter buffet serving fried chicken, catfish, sliced glazed ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, desserts.

Seating is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

When: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Sunday's specials will be prime rib, or salmon with a brown sugar and almond glaze. The regular menu also will be available.

The Buffalo Tavern

Where: 2016 S. Main St., near Crapo Park.

What: The menu will include a sliced ham dinner, and also there will be a weekly special.
