7 Circle of Kindness is Hosting a Donation Drive Benefitting Miami Valley Meals

We are excited to announce the first 7 Circle of Kindness food drive benefitting Miami Valley Meals.

Miami Valley Meals is a local nonprofit organization. It works through food donations from 27 food recovery partners and consists of a group of local chefs who cook using the donated ingredients and distribute 3500+ free meals a week to the local communities through a network of more than 40 partners. Their meals play a critical role in the full spectrum of services that help the underserved people in our region.

“While the majority of food used is donated, the items we receive vary each week and we often have to supplement ingredients to make meals complete. During winter months, it is especially hard to come by fresh produce after harvest season ends. We keep a stock of basic pantry staples such as rice, flour, oil, spices, canned vegetables and frozen vegetables, and other items on hand that are often hard to come by from donated sources.”, says Amanda DeLotelle, the Executive Director of Miami Valley Meals.

The 7 Circle of Kindness food drive in partnership with Morris Home and Ashley will take place on Saturday, April 15th, at the Dot’s Market locations: Centerville, Bellbrook, and Kettering. Our teams will be at the drop-off locations accepting donations between 8 AM and 2 PM.
