Father's Day is Sunday, June 18, the day to celebrate all the things fathers do for us. They may give advice in a few words, go get your oil changed when needed or maybe they still grill for the whole family.

Check-in will be from 4 to 7 p.m., hooks in the water at 7 p.m. Hooks out at 6 a.m.; weigh in at 7 a.m.

Western Playland has fireworks
Enjoy a family day with Dad at Western Playland, which will have music and fireworks every Friday in June. The park will open at 6 p.m. with a fireworks show at 9 p.m. Pay-one-price bracelets are $27.65 for people 42 inches or taller and $18.49 for people 34 to 41 inches tall. Admission only is $5.
