These 7 festivals and concerts are coming to Sacramento in 2023. What’s in store this summer?

Outdoor festivals and events are returning to the city, as summer weather starts to gleam into Sacramento.

Whether you’re looking to enjoy food from local vendors under the sun or see a concert, Sacramento’s got it. Here’s what to keep on your radar 2023:

Bryson Tiller at Cesar Chavez Park

June 17, Cesar Chavez Plaza

R&B artist Bryson Tiller is stopping in Sacramento on June 17 as a part of his “Back and I’m Better” tour. He’ll be on stage at Cesar Chavez Plaza with special guest DJ Nitrane.

Tiller rose to fame with his debut album, “TRAPSOUL,” in 2015, featuring tracks such as “Don’t” and “Exchange.” This will be his first tour after five years, he said in an Instagram post. His last albums were released in 2021, which include a deluxe version of his record “ANNIVERSARY” and a Christmas album called “A Different Christmas.”

Tickets for the Sacramento show start at $50. VIP starts at $100.

Farm-to-Fork Festival

Sept. 7-23, Capitol Mall

Sacramento’s annual Farm-to-Fork Festival celebrates local food, wine, beer and music. The 2023 lineup for vendors and musicians will be released in the spring, according to the festival website.

Last year, guests saw performers Japanese Breakfast and Gregory Porter, as well as chefs Patrick Prager and Nina Curtis.

The festival is free to enter.

Sol Blume

August 19-20, Discovery Park

Previously planned to run at the end of April, Sol Blume was rescheduled to August due to flooding at Discovery Park following winter rains.

The annual R&B and hip hop festival has a star-studded line-up, which includes headliners Brent Faiyaz, Kehlani and special guest Teyana Taylor. Joey Bada$$, PinkPantheress and Marc E Bassy will also be performing.

General admission for all ages for the weekend starts at $225. VIP reserved for people 21 and over starts at $400.

California State Fair and Food Festival

July 14-30, Cal Expo

The California State Fair and Food Festival is hosting the Toyota Concert Series. There will be a headlining performer each day of the fair, starting with indie pop band Fitz and The Tantrums on July 14.

Organizers have been rolling out announcements of headliners. So far, Ginuwine, LeeAnn Rimes and Gin Blossoms are some of the artists that will be at the fair.

Admission to the concert is free with a fair ticket, which starts at $16 for adults. But you can get early bird tickets until July 13 for $14.
