Live After 5 at Old Town Public House

Cost: Free

Old Town Public House’s Live After 5 concert series features some of the area’s top talent performing on the outdoor patio. It takes place every Friday, weather permitting, through the end of July.

Davidson’s Concert on the Green

Location: Davidson’s Village Green, 119 S Main Street, Davidson, NC 28036

Time: 6 to 8 p.m.

Cost: Free

This family-friendly concert series is a popular tradition in Davidson. The reggae band Crucial Fiya will be performing. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Lake Norman Foodees Food and Culture Festival

Location: Lake Norman YMCA, 21300 Davidson Street, Cornelius, NC 28031

Time: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Cost: Free admission, but parking for non-YMCA members is $5.

This three-day celebration is going on from Friday to Sunday. It will feature over 25 food trucks and vendors, as well as artists, artisans and crafters. The YMCA will be offering lake activities and parking free for YMCA members, while non-YMCA members can buy passes for the lake activities and on-site parking for $5.

Memorial Day Observance in Cornelius

Location: Cornelius Town Hall Lawn, 21445 Catawba Avenue, Cornelius, NC 28031 and Cain Center for the Arts, 21348 Catawba Avenue, Cornelius, NC 28031

Time: 10 a.m.

Cost: Free

The Town of Cornelius and American Legion Post 86 will honor our nation’s service men and women who lost their lives in the line of duty. The ceremony will feature speakers, patriotic music by W.A. Hough High School Concert Choir, a 21-gun salute and more. After the ceremony, head across the street to the Cain Center for the Arts, for light refreshments, and, at 11:40 a.m., the movie Devotion.

Cappitoff Entertainment presents this weekly Drinkin’ N Thinkin’ Music Bingo at The Kilted Buffalo Langtree. The Kilted Buffalo is a sports pub with plenty of domestic and imported beers, pub games and multiple TVs.

LangTree Live
