7 places to find pumpkin-flavored treats in Columbus for National Pumpkin Day

A particular orange-colored squash seems to pop up everywhere in the fall, whether it's lit up on porches or flavoring our favorite foods.

Since originating in Central America more than 7,500 years ago, pumpkins have become synonymous with the season. These days, they're turning up in everything from coffee to Oreos to even Goldfish crackers.

Earlier this month, thousands celebrated the gorgeous gourds at the Circleville Pumpkin Show with parades, foods, crafts and displays all dedicated to pumpkins.

But if you haven't had enough, there's yet another chance to honor and give thanks for the spectacular squash. National Pumpkin Day is Wednesday, just days before Halloween.

For those who missed out on the fun at the Pumpkin Show — or simply didn't get enough — here are seven places around the Columbus area to find more favorite fall treats highlighting the pumpkin.
