The man who was named Time magazine's Person of the Year for 2001 has long since been reduced to sharing the latest Trumpist conspiracy theories on any cable news channel that has the budget to cover any possible subsequent defamation lawsuits.
US Sen. Mitch McConnell and his challenger in the Kentucky Senate race, Amy McGrath, are sparring over upcoming debates. It all started when Mr McConnell sent a press release from "Team Mitch" accusing his opponent of potentially backing out of a debate in October. In a press release issued Monday, Ms McGrath's campaign alleged that "Amy is ready and willing to debate Mitch, but Mitch is afraid to take the stage unless he dictates every detail."

A 43-year-old man has died after falling 100 feet from a cliff on the Oregon coast while posing for a photograph in a tree, officials have said. Steven Gastelum of Seaside, Oregon, was trying to take a photo while hiking along the Devil's Cauldron Overlook Trail in Oswald West State Park before he died, Oregon State Police said. According to reports, Mr Gastelum climbed a tree on the trail when a branch broke, causing Mr Gastelum to fall about 100 feet into the Pacific Ocean.
Aviation safety expert and famed pilot Chesley Burnett "Sully" Sullenberger III said that during the pandemic, he will only fly on airlines that leave middle seats empty. Sullenberger, who is known for landing a damaged plane on the Hudson River in 2009, saving all 155 people on board, cited a study from MIT that found that leaving middle seats empty halves the risk of catching the novel coronavirus during a flight. President Donald Trump's former campaign manager Brad Parscale was hospitalized Sunday after he threatened to harm himself, according to Florida police and campaign officials. Police officers talked Parscale out of his Fort Lauderdale home after his wife called police to say that he had multiple firearms and was threatening to hurt himself. Police Sgt. DeAnna Greenlaw said Parscale was hospitalized under the state's Baker Act, which allows anyone deemed to be a threat to themselves or others to be detained for 72 hours for psychiatric evaluation.
After handing the wallet over to the Polk County Sheriff Office's in Winter Haven, Florida, authorities discovered that the wallet belonged toSean Edwards, a suspected drug trafficker who was wanted for selling methamphetamine, a post on the official Sheriff's Facebook page said. “When Sean arrived, he was promptly arrested and searched,” the Facebook past said.
