8 people displaced after house fire in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Prince George’s County Fire and EMS said eight people were displaced after a fire broke out at a home in District Heights.

Crews said that at about 9:30 a.m., they were dispatched to the 2700 block of Lorring Drive for a working fire.

Fire officials: Dog alerted family to fire in Rockville home

First responders arrived at the scene and found smoke coming from a three-story multi-family home.

Crews said the fire was out and there were no injuries.
