8 places to get Easter brunch in Austin this weekend

With Easter hopping closer every day, you may be wondering where to grab a bite this weekend. The holiday has become quite tied to brunch, after all.

Luckily there are several offerings all around Austin. Here are some to check out:

Luminaire

This restaurant, located inside Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin, will serve a five-course brunch menu from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The menu will offer crabmeat empanadas, leche frita and more.

Trattoria Lisina

Throughout Easter weekend, Trattoria Lisina will serve bone-in braised beef short rib, key lime pie, Peeps marshmallow gelato and majolini champagne. The restaurant will also offer carafes of mimosas and poinsettias from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday only.

TLC Austin

Customers can walk in for brunch offerings Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The menu includes $5 frosé, French toast banana pudding and shrimp and grits.

Fareground

Fareground is offering not just brunch but an entire Easter Egg-stravaganza from 12-3 p.m. Three egg hunts will take place throughout the event based on age group.

True Food Kitchen

On Saturday and Sunday, True Food Kitchen in The Domain will serve specials such as chocolate bread pudding French toast.

CRU Food and Wine Bar

This Domain restaurant will serve up a Napa-style wine country brunch from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, complete with three build-your-own courses and $5 mimosas and bellinis.

Sunday's brunch menu will include tres leches waffles, huevos rancheros, chilaquiles de pollo en salsa verde, mimosas and horchatas.

From 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Mandola's will serve brasato, baked ziti, house-made Peeps marshmallow gelato and house-made Easter cookies.
