Thursday

Wine Down To The Weekend

5 to 7 p.m., Reitz Home Museum, 112 Chestnut St. in Evansville. Free.

Enjoy a glass of wine or beer in the historic setting of the Reitz's Home garden, veranda and patio. This event will feature live entertainment from Gina Moore, Bob Green and Monte Skelton.

Saturday

New Harmony Kunstfest

Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., New Harmony Historic District. Free.

The third weekend of September is dedicated to New Harmony's largest art and German heritage celebration festival. Its a fun, German festival with art, food such as kraut balls, apple cider and more, entertainment and live music like blue grass tunes, German Folk Music genres, and historical craft demonstrations of blacksmithing, pottery, spinning, etc.

2022 Southwest Indiana Walk to End Alzheimer's

9 a.m., Friedman Park, 2700 Park Blvd. in Newburgh. Free.

Come join the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease at the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Reptiles often get a a bad rap according to Chris and Carrie Ulrich with the Tri-State Herpetological Society, an Evansville-based nonprofit, that rescues found and abandoned snakes and lizards. Evansville Reptile and Exotics Show

10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Vanderburgh 4-H Center, 201 E. Boonville-New Harmony Road. Tickets are $5, free for kids age 4 and under.

This family-friendly event showcases different lizards, birds, spiders, turtles and more. It's also a great place for people to stock up on feeders and supplies for pets. Food and beverages will be available to purchase from local food trucks.

Evansville Farmers Market

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Washington Square Mall, Free

Come out for this family friendly event to support and buy from local vendors, try new food trucks, or learn about a few community resources.

Kids' Flea Market

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Childrens Museum of Evansville, 22 SE Fifth St. Free.

Young Entrepreneurs, 14 years of age or younger, will be selling their outgrown toys, books, baseball cards, games and handmade craft items.

Speakeasy

6 to 9 p.m., Reitz Home Museum in Evansville. Tickets are $75 for general admission and $100 for VIP admission.

Come out to join for a 1930s era fun for a speakeasy at the Chestnut Room, with signature cocktails by John Raleigh and catering from Just Rennie's. Live jazz is will be performed by After Hours and a silent and live auction will be happening throughout the night. 1930s-era attire is encouraged.

SWIRCA BrewFest 2022

6 to 9 p.m., West Franklin Street in Evansville. Tickets range from $40 to $85.

This festival will allow patrons to taste over 300 craft beers, wines and liquors with unlimited samples. Live music and yard games are available to play. Local food vendors will be there and attendees will receive a souvenir tasting glass. All proceeds will benefit SWIRCA & More, a non-profit organization helping seniors and those facing disabilities.
