I-80 near Hwy 61 closed due to overturned semi
Drivers using Interstate 80 east near Highway 61 need to find another way to get to their destination.
The south exit to I-80 east is currently closed while crews work to remove an overturned semi. A witness told Our Quad Cities News that the truck was taking the turn too fast, left the road and overcorrected, leading to the accident. There’s no word on the condition of the driver.
