83-year-old Milford man arrested in connection with alleged sexual assault of child
An 83-year-old man is facing charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a child, law enforcement officials said.
James Murphy, of Milford, was arrested last week on charges including three counts of sexual assault and one count of simple assault, according to the Milford Police Department.
The charges stem from allegations involving a victim under the age of 16, police noted.
Murphy has since been released on personal recognizance. It’s not clear when he’ll be called to court.
