All of you keep quoting pre-existing health conditions. Guess what, most of you don’t know if you have one or not. Young athletes fall out in this country by the hundreds because they didn’t know. My 18 year old son had to go to marine boot camp to find out he had a genetic
blood disorder. All you think of is overweight, heart attacks, or diabetes. We all need to realize this will take a lot of HUMAN people. Most Americans are not in the best shape and do not eat healthy. The other part is genetics.
Logically, you’re contradicting yourselves. Oh, they were all in their 80s and 70s. Oh well they must’ve had ore-existing conditions. If they lived that long, they must’ve done something right. These folks were born in Deep South Louisiana, at the height of Jim Crow. Obviously a little high blood pressure was not their problem.

New Orleans guy here. This hits close to home. I actually knew an Anthony Franklin through work MANY years ago.
They say a picture tells a story of 1,000 words and yet most of us only see black and white. But they are also linking high blood pressure and diabetes to these deaths. I guess those don't sell newspapers.
