8th Annual Black Unity Conference to be held at Sinclair Community College today

Today the annual Black Unity Conference and Celebration of Purpose: Nia Awards and Gospel Fest will be held at Sinclair Community College.

Reception for the event will be at 5:30 p.m., followed by a ceremony at 6:30 p.m., according to event officials on Facebook.

Imani A’cappella (Bold Believers Church of Christ), Lighthouse Spiritual (Music Minister Steve Reed), St. Peter’s House of Restoration Choir (Music Minister Crescendo Baccus), and Musical Director Elder Daniel A. Cook will provide gospel music for the ceremony.

There will be a special tribute for Professor Daniel Greene at the event.
