9 Neighbours spoilers for next week
Next week on Neighbours, one Ramsay Street favourite faces a fight for their life, another makes a terrible mistake, while a Number 22 resident prepares to bid farewell.
Here are nine storylines from the week to look forward to.
1. Ned begs Aaron to keep his secret
After dragging Ned off a battered opponent in the underground fighting ring, Aaron finds himself in an uncomfortable position. Ned realises how far he has gone and begins to have concerns over the state of his hospitalised opponent. He also has a request for Aaron – to keep the secret of what he has been doing from everyone, including David, so the likes of Yashvi and Bea don't find out.
Aaron reluctantly agrees, on the condition that Ned goes to therapy and stops the fights, but a reminder of Scarlett may cause Ned to break the promise he has just made.
2. Prue catches Terese out
Harlow is still torn between her mother's desire to take her home and the new life she has made for herself in Erinsborough. However, Prue uses Terese to help Harlow come to a decision about where her future lies.
After realising that they have been neglecting Harlow, Terese and Paul vow to do better by her and to support her when she needs it. Unfortunately, Terese is still reeling from recent events and once again turns to alcohol for comfort, but this time Prue catches her and plans to use the discovery to her advantage.
3. Harlow says goodbye to Erinsborough
With Terese now saying that the choice to leave should be Harlow's, Paul is left feeling betrayed that his wife isn't supporting him. Harlow ultimately comes to the decision that she should go back to London and start building a life and relationship with Prue.
A farewell party is hastily organised and Harlow packs her bags and says goodbye to the new family she has made. But while on the way to the airport, Gary and Amy connect the dots about the Restoration Order and realise what Harlow is going back to. Can they warn her before it's too late?
4. Amy is caught between Kyle and Paul
The class action suit against Lassiters continues to cause problems, particularly for Amy and Kyle. Having already had one boyfriend who was constantly at war with her father, Amy isn't keen to see history repeating itself.
But things take a turn for the worst when Kyle learns that Paul attempted to bribe Toadie with a Foundation donation in order to get him to drop the case.
Kyle's fury at learning this, on top of him failing to meet Amy for a romantic evening together, seem to spell trouble for this newly-reunited couple.
5. David faces a fight for his life
Aaron's guilt over keeping Ned's secret from David becomes too much for him and, considering Prue's deception being revealed, he decides to come clean. Despite his honesty, the married couple quickly find themselves in a war of words that results in David leaving the house for a late-night bike ride.
The choice to head out is a tragic one for David, though. Stopping for a breather on Power Road, he has no time to react when a car comes out of nowhere and smashes into him, sending him tumbling with force to the ground. Will David survive?
6. Who is responsible for David's condition?
Terese is first on the scene to find a badly-injured David and no sign of the car that him. She gets straight on the phone to the ambulance and her son-in-law is rushed to hospital.
As for Terese, Paul begins to question why she was at Power Road so late and she reveals that she has been drinking again. But this leads Paul to fear the worst – was a drunk-driving Terese the one to hit his son?
7. Kyle realises he has made a terrible mistake
As Ramsay Street begins to learn the severity of David's condition, many are starting to wonder who could have hit him and fled the scene. As it turns out, Amy only has to look as far as her boyfriend to work out who the culprit was.
A broken tail-light on the ute leads to Kyle admitting that he drifted off at the wheel, and when the paintwork left behind matches David's bike, it's clear that he was the guilty party.
Kyle wastes no time in turning himself into the police and revealing the truth.
8. David receives distressing news
As David lies in hospital, teetering between life and death, Karl breaks the news to Aaron that his husband has lost a kidney as a result of the accident. Aaron is left to deal with the guilt of the argument they had, while not knowing whether David is going to pull through.
When Kyle comes forward as the person responsible for his condition, David barely has time to process the news before his health takes another turn for the worst. Will he pull through?
9. Is there more trouble ahead for Shane and Dipi?
With Kirsha having left for Sydney, and Dipi still harbouring a grudge with Toadie and Shane, the timing of Toadie working on a case that threatens Harold's Store couldn't be worse.
For Toadie, he is struggling juggling that case with the Foundation so asks Shane for some help, which he happily provides. For Dipi though, this is another betrayal and she makes sure Toadie knows that this isn't something Shane should be working on.
Shane doesn't appreciate it and the rift between them continues to grow. To make matters worse, Shane then discovers that Dipi has rekindled her friendship with Gary – and he is not pleased.
