9-year-old boy shot on Near North Side, police say
A boy was in good condition after being shot Friday evening, police said.
The child was in the 900 block of North Cambridge Avenue in the Cabrini Green neighborhood when shots were fired around 6:45 p.m. and he was hit, Chicago police said.
The boy, who was in good condition, was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital for treatment.
No arrests had been made.
