9 Tennessee Titans-Philadelphia Eagles predictions: Little love for Titans ahead of Philly trip
The Tennessee Titans have another challenging road trip on Sunday with a game at the Philadelphia Eagles.
It's the Titans' first game against former receiver A.J. Brown since Brown's draft-night trade to Philadelphia in April.
The Eagles (10-1) are atop the NFC but are being chased by the Vikings for the No. 1 seed and the Cowboys for the NFC East lead. Tennessee (7-4) still hold a sizeable lead in the AFC South but are two games behind Kansas City for the top seed.

The Titans haven't played a game decided by more than 10 points in either direction since Sept. 19. That doesn't feel likely to change this time around. But the Eagles have the NFL's best record for a reason, and the Titans don't have quite enough offensive firepower to keep up on the road.

Titans 24, Eagles 20
Philly has a legit contender this season and will make more noise, but this just seems like the kind of road situation in which the Titans thrive.

Philadelphia wins the A.J. Brown revenge game. Titans gets a glimpse of what it could be.
George Robinson, sports reporter
Eagles 28, Titans 14
Everyone will see this as the A.J. Brown revenge game and he’ll be difficult to stop, but Philly’s heart has been quarterback Jalen Hurts. He’ll run for a pair of scores to lead the Eagles past Tennessee.
Aria Gerson, Vanderbilt sports reporter
Eagles 27, Titans 17
This will be a battle between two teams who have simply found ways to win, but the Eagles are just a little bit better right now.
Drake Hills, Nashville SC reporter
Eagles 27, Titans 17
This game will be more about the Eagles' Jalen Hurts and Miles Sanders making plays more then it will be about A.J. Brown. Alas, Brown gets his 7 catches for 90-odd yards receiving and a couple touchdown dances, with a message to Titans general manager Jon Robinson. But the Eagles have the edge and the win behind Hurts and Sanders in RPOs and scrambling out of the pocket.

Titans 27, Eagles 24
The Eagles are still winning games but are not playing their best football (see the loss to Washington, close victories vs. Indianapolis and Green Bay). Tennessee is going to make Jalen Hurts work for everything. And if Ben Jones plays, expect a better day for Derrick Henry.
Dani Mohr, trending sports reporter
Eagles 28, Titans 17
Titans will put up a fight against A.J. Brown, but Philadelphia will be difficult to stop as it looks to improve on a 10-1 start.

Eagles 31, Titans 17
Philadelphia has the look of a Super Bowl team. The Titans have been overachieving. It adds up to a big win for the Eagles as Tennessee finds out that it isn’t quite on that level.
