It was a South Dakota homecoming on the April 24 episode of 90 Day Fiancé featuring a Rapid City man and his Serbian fiancée.

Season 9's second episode saw Jibri, 28, from Rapid City, welcome his fiancée, Miona, 23, from Serbia.

In the first episode, Jibri's family was hesitant regarding Miona's arrival after having not talked to her more than a few times. Miona expressed no interest in wanting to live in South Dakota as it didn't fit with her image of American life. The show's format: Following K-1 visa rules, couples have 90 days to wed before the visa expires and their fiancé is sent back to their home country.

Sunday's newest episode was all leading up to Jibri and Miona's reunion. First, Jibri hit up Rapid Wash Car Wash to get his dad's pickup clean so he could go pick up Miona.

Then he hit downtown Rapid City where he had a FaceTime call with his best friend David who was suspicious of Miona's intentions and wished him luck in his relationship.

Jibri was upset as not one single person in his life seems as excited as he is for Miona's arrival.

Jibri then went to his parent's home preparing to go pick Miona up from the airport as he packed a red carpet to roll out for her.

“She gotta come in to South Dakota with a bang,” Jibri said, “This is the Hollywood of South Dakota.”

After putting on another cowboy-inspired outfit and buying Miona some boots and a hat, Jibri set off to the airport.

The reunion was cute. No South Dakota bashing happened at the Rapid City airport, but Miona did say the couple had a lot to work on including figuring out when and where they'd leave to after a brief stint in the state.

“Jibri promised that we would move to LA,” Miona said, “if that doesn’t happen, I would want to leave.”

A big talking point coming up for the couple is finances. The show is set mid-pandemic and Jibri has not been doing music for a while. His band is on a hiatus and he's moved back in with his parents in Rapid City.

Jibri also admitted that he is not the best with money, and although he and Miona are engaged they have not discussed their financial situations. His moving back in with his parents was a way for him to save up money, but his fiancée seems ready to move out before the first night.

The season's third episode airs next Sunday and a preview of it shows Miona being heavily questioned by Jibri's parents and him saying he hopes an argument doesn't break out during Miona's first day home.
