94,500 Gallon Sewer Spill Closes California Beaches

A sewage spill has closed an area of California beaches. There are no swimmers or surfers along this stretch of the famous SoCal coastline. A break in a main sewer line caused around 94,500 gallons of sewage to spill into the ocean. Because of the waste, residents and tourists have been cautioned to avoid the area. The Health Care Agency says it will continue testing the water in order to determine when the beach will be safe to re-open.
