99 Cents Only Stores will offer $1 whole turkeys on Wednesday for the first 50 customers

Looking to buy a turkey and save some money?

Then make your way to the 99 Cents Only Stores on Wednesday, Nov. 15 for a $1 frozen whole turkey.

Only the first 50 customers will receive a wristband to purchase a whole turkey of at least 14 pounds, 99 Cents Only Stores said in a statement. One turkey is allowed per household.

"Make your Thanksgiving meal for less than $10 with our $1 Turkey, and $1 Super Sides. November 15th only!" The 99 Store posted on social media. "$1 Turkeys will be available for the first 50 customers, while Super Sides will be available leading up to Thanksgiving!"

All stores except 18 which lack freezer space will be offering turkeys. Those 18 stores will be offering a Super Sides Bag instead on Wednesday.

“With challenging economic pressures and rising inflation, our customers are searching for affordable options on everyday household necessities,” said Mike Simoncic, CEO of The 99 Store in a statement. “The 99 Store was created 41 years ago to ensure the communities where we do business have access to everyday essentials, and this holiday season we want to do all we can to help bring joy when it matters most to our loyal customers.”

The 99 Cents Only Stores will be offering 18,000 turkeys at $1 in about 400 stores across California and the Southwestern United States, the statement said.

They will also be offering sides such as mashed potatoes, stuffing, blueberries, and more at the price of $1 leading up to Thanksgiving day so you can complete your Thanksgiving meal at a low price.

Most stores open at 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
