The Nittany Lions (10-0, 2-0) were 29-11 winners over the Hoosiers after blanking the Terrapins 46-0.

“We’re really starting to hit our strides, heading to the Big Ten Conference matches," Brooks said. "Everybody is really gaining confidence, which is a good thing. That’s really 95% of it."

Brooks, a 2018 North Hagerstown graduate, is 8-0 this season with two pins, a technical fall and four major decisions.

After going 163-2 and winning four Maryland 4A-3A state titles for the Hubs in high school, Brooks is 37-1 for his college career. He’s the reigning NCAA champion at 184 pounds.

Penn State will be back in action Sunday at home against Rutgers, starting at 5 p.m. The match will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
