Aaron Carter's final project to move ahead following his tragic death
Aaron Carter's final project is set to move ahead following his recent death over the weekend in California, aged just 34.
The star was working on a sitcom pilot called Group before his death, which is set in group therapy and saw Carter play a fictionalised version of himself.
Carter had finished filming on the project, and it has now been confirmed that his management have given their blessing for the show to go ahead in his honour.

"I was heartbroken to hear the shocking news about Aaron on Saturday," said writer-director Brian Farmer (via Deadline). "Aaron was so excited about the show and helping raise awareness for mental health, a topic he was very passionate about.
"He said being a part of the show gave him something positive to work toward, and I'll forever cherish that.
"He was such a kind soul and a pleasure to work with, and he will be dearly missed by everyone who was a part of Group and countless others. My heart goes out to his family and friends."

Group also stars the likes of Neighbours' Kevin Clayette, Inglourious Basterds' Samm Levine, Scorpion's Ari Stidham, My Name Is Earl's Abdoulaye NGom, Bring It On Again's Anne Judson-Yager, Goodfellas' Mike Starr, Ashley Brinkman and Olive Chiacchia.
Following Carter's death, tributes flooded in for the late star, including from Hilary Duff, who said: "You had a charm that was absolutely effervescent... boy did my teenage self love you deeply. Sending love to your family at this time. Rest easy."
The pilot episode for Group does not currently have a release date.
