Aaron Jones watches cousin Tristen Newton, UConn play at NCAA March Madness Sweet 16 game
Aaron Jones was in Las Vegas to watch cousin Tristen Newton and the UConn men's basketball go against Arkansas in Thursday's NCAA tournament Sweet 16 matchup.
Tristen Newton, a Burges High School alum, had a game a coach would love in the Huskies' 88-65 victory over No. 8 Arkansas. He started and contributed in multiple ways with six points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Jones tweeted the following Thursday night, "Sweet 16 know we had to come see @D1Tristenand@UConnMB."
Newton and crew get Gonzaga or UCLA in Saturday's region final with a trip to the Final Four on the line.
