Aaron Paul Lists Sunset Strip Home After Buying in Los Feliz
Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul's home near the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles is now on the market for $2.499 million. The actor; his wife, documentary film director Lauren Parsekian; and their daughter, Story, recently moved to a Spanish Colonial home in Los Feliz, built in 1920 and designed by architect Stiles O. Clements. The BoJack Horseman star and Parsekian purchased their new three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom, 4,000-square-foot house from Big Bang Theory actor Jim Parsons for $6.95 million, adding to a growing list of big-name owners, which includes Robert Pattinson (who sold the home to Parsons), director Robert Luketic, Oscar-winning cinematographer Robert Richardson, and Tim Curry.
The home now up for grabs is a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom, 2,400-square-foot villa located on a cul-de-sac within walking distance of the Chateau Marmont. Built in the 1930s, the house retains many charming original details throughout, including hand-painted tiles, arched doorways, stucco walls, and wood-beamed ceilings. The cozy living and formal dining room centers around a handsome fireplace made of light-colored stone, and offers picturesque views through a front-facing window flanked by built-in shelving. A more casual dining area off the small kitchen, painted green, offers more great views, as does a cozy sitting area in the master bedroom.
A den with a large wet-bar area and an attached bathroom is accessible from both inside the home and through a separate entrance, making it the perfect space for a guest room, a screening room, or a secluded home office. The property also boasts a number of outdoor spaces, including a sheltered open-air living room tucked underneath the house, a small rooftop terrace with sweeping views, and a peaceful meditation garden featuring a fire pit, plenty of seating, and a large statue of Buddha, all surrounded by lush greenery.
